  • How soon should I book my wedding cake?

    6 months, even a year in advance is never too early!  Late spring to early fall is our busiest wedding season and we book up FAST. The earlier the better but usually once you have a secure day, date, and location that is when you should secure your cake date as well!
  • How do I secure my date?

    A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to save your date. We only take a limited number of cakes each week to ensure each event and wedding gets the attention and detail it deserves.  Late bookings and rush orders are sometimes available for an additional fee.
  • Where are you located?

    Happy Tiers Bakery is located in the beautiful North Lake Tahoe town of Incline Village.  We work out of a commercial kitchen with no store front.  We are available by phone, email, and scheduled appointments/tastings.
  • Can I schedule a cake tasting?

    Absolutely, and it is encouraged!  Being a destination wedding location, I am on site at the Chateau for their free bi-yearly tasting.  This is one of the many perks to having your wedding with the Chateau or Aspen Grove.  All other tastings are $20 for the couple and $5 for each additional guest.  3 cake flavors will be provided as well as a few fillings and buttercream flavors.  Any extra flavors are $10 more.
  • Do you have any gluten free/dairy free/sugar free items?

    Yes!  All items are prepared in the same locations, however, we do provide these items.
  • When is my final payment due?

    Final payments are due no later than 2 weeks before your event.
  • How do we pay for our order?

    All forms of payment are accepted.  We process credit card payments through Square. Email invoices are payable same day and most common.  A 3% fee is added to all credit card processed payments.
  • Why are your prices higher than the local grocery stores?

    All of our items are custom order and made from scratch only with the highest quality ingredients!  Our prices reflect the time and attention to detail, fresh ingredients (local when avaiable), artistry, and passion that goes in every single cake.  Andrea is hands on with every order!
  • Can we use fresh flowers on our cake?

    Yes!  Ask your florist for cake flowers and we will go over placement.  I am a profectionest so I prefer to arrange the flowers on the cake myself!  Fresh flowers are not a food product and may contain pesticides, insects, dirt, or other contaminants.  We will wrap each flower stem with floral tape before inserting into the cake.  Placing flowers on the cake is done with no additional fee!
